Our sailing adventures depart from the East Tawas Dock, located at 113 Newman St, East Tawas, MI 48730. Please be aware that while this is the marina's address, the Appledore IV is docked on the outer breakwall, requiring a walk from the marina itself. While downtown Tawas offers ample parking, the marina lot is the closest to the boat but requires paid parking. We recommend arriving in East Tawas approximately 40 minutes before your scheduled departure to allow time for parking and the walk along the outer breakwall. This walk takes a minimum of 10 minutes and may be challenging for those with mobility concerns. Please check in 15-30 minutes before departure and board 10-15 minutes prior. The nearest public restrooms are located at the state harbor facilities, before you begin the walk to the outer breakwall.
